Maryland Handgun Transfers / FFL Transfers

 We will transfer any Maryland legal new or used firearms if we do not have it in stock and cannot get it at the mutually agreeable price.  All firearms must be Maryland compliant.  Maryland compliant handguns must be listed on the Maryland Handgun Roster or be manufactured prior to 1985. If you do not know if a gun is Maryland legal, we highly recommend you contact Maryland State Police.
If the firearm is manufactured after 2002 it must be equipped with a Maryland approved “Integrated Mechanical Safety Device”.
To receive the regulated firearm, you have to have a valid HQL. We charge $50 for the long gun, $60 for regulated firearm, $90 for the NFA items.

If the firearm arrives with high capacity magazines, you have a choice to get the firearm without magazine, or have magazine blocked so it only accepts no more then 10 rounds for additional $30 for up to 3 magazines ($15 per magazine after that).

 Whoever you buy your gun from is going to need a copy of our FFL in order to ship the gun to us.  Please call or email us to arrange the transfer.
After we accept your transfer request and we e-mail the seller a copy of our FFL license, they will ship the gun to us for you to pick up.  It is your responsibility to make sure the seller ships out your gun in a timely fashion once they have our FFL license. Please ensure they include a copy of their FFL, your name and phone number. Please note that while we do accept FedEx shipments, we are not responsible for packages lost or not delivered to us during our business hours. 

 After your gun has been received and processed into our system, we will call you to let you know that the gun is ready for paperwork (Maryland regulated firearm – hand gun) or paperwork and pick up (long guns).
For long gun transfers, you will need a valid Maryland photo ID (drivers license) and will need to fill out a Federal Form 4473 for the background check.  Once your background check is approved, you can take possession of your gun.
For Maryland regulated transfers (hand guns) you will need a valid  Maryland photo ID (driver’s license) and a Maryland HQL license. You will also need to log into the Maryland State Police Licensing Portal and fill out the on-line version of form 77R.

TRANSFERS WILL BE HELD FOR 45 DAYS UNLESS A LONGER TIME IS APPROVED BY D.O.G.G.   ANY GUN LEFT AFTER 45 DAYS WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST WILL HAVE $5 A DAY STORAGE FEE ASSESSED UNTIL THE STORAGE FEES REACH THE VALUE OF THE GUN. AT THAT POINT THE GUN WILL BE SOLD TO COVER THE STORAGE FEES.

 If you would like to transfer a firearm through our shop to another FFL holder, we charge $50 per gun plus shipping.
